The 2024 Hawaii Democratic presidential caucuses took place on March 6, 2024, as part of the Democratic Party primaries for the 2024 presidential election.[1] 31 delegates to the Democratic National Convention were allocated to presidential candidates.[2]
Biden won the vote. "Uncommitted" won almost 30% of the vote, with nearly 500 votes and seven delegates.[3] It was noted there was no specific uncommitted movement.[4]
Background[edit]
The party initially planned to hold a vote by mail primary, but the expenses proved too much. Though the party held a primary in 2020, it chose to hold caucuses in 2024.[1]
