Kajal or Kajol is a 1982 novel written by Taradas Bandyopadhyay. He started writing this book immediately after passing his Higher Secondary Examination.

Synopsis[edit]

Kajol, the son of Apu (Apurba Kumar Roy) goes back to Nishchindapur village and experiences his father, Apurba's tragic life once again. The sequel of this book, which is the Tritiyo Purush follows a similar concept as well.
