Contested deletion[edit]

This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because... (I added it as there's a link to it in two articles, List of historical societies and Denver City Home Guard. It's used as a source in the Denver article. I'll look for more links. ) Gale Peterson (talk) 23:06, 18 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I added two external links that describe a book produced by the society. Gale Peterson (talk) 23:18, 18 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for taking off the speedy delete tag! Gale Peterson (talk) 23:14, 24 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Notability Guidelines[edit]

Somebody posted that

"The topic of this article may not meet Wikipedia's notability guidelines for companies and organizations. (January 2021) This article may rely excessively on sources too closely associated with the subject, potentially preventing the article from being verifiable and neutral. (January 2021)"

On the sources part, I don't believe LDS or Family Search have any association with the Columbine group other than they're all interested in genealogy. Gale Peterson (talk) 23:50, 28 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
