Summary

Description Alexei Smirnov, forward for the Long Beach Ice Dogs. This former NHLer (he was drafted in the first round of the 2000 NHL entry draft by Anaheim) had his first start for the Ice Dogs on this night. He wasn't much of a factor against the Alaska Aces but then again this was his very first game with any team in any league this season.
