ไทย: “วัดป่าประดู่” สันนิษฐานว่าสร้างในสมัยกรุงศรีอยุธยา
ประวัติความเป็นมาก่อนสร้างวัด ประมาณเมื่อปี พ.ศ.๒๓๗๒ พระภิกษุรูปหนึ่งชื่อ อุปัชฌาย์เทียน เดิมจำพรรษาอยู่ที่ วัดเนิน (หรือมีชื่อเรียกอีกชื่อหนึ่งว่า วัดอินทรสมบัติ ปัจจุบันรวมกับวัดลุ่ม) ได้มาพบสถานที่แห่งนี้เป็นวัดร้าง มีต้นตะเคียนเป็นจำนวนมาก มีซากวัดที่เหลือแต่ ซากโบสถ์ ซากพระพุทธรูปปางไสยาสน์ และ ซากองค์พระประธานซึ่งเป็นพระพุทธรูปปางปาลิไลยก์ วัดป่าประดู่แห่งนี้จึงเคยมีชื่อเดิมว่า วัดป่าเลไลยก์
