English: The Chevrolet Constantia was marketed by Chevrolet in South Africa from 1969 to 1978.
The first series was based on Australia's Holden HG Brougham, but featuring a unique frontal treatment
The second series, the AQ Constantia was introduced in 1972 and was based on the Australian Statesman HQ. Again, frontal styling was different from the Australian model, this time featuring a unique grille based on the 1970 Chevrolet Malibu, wheel covers also came from the Malibu The AQ was offered with a 4.1-litre six and a 5.0-litre V8.
The last AJ series was based on the HJ Statesman, now available as a wagon also and the more luxurious Chevrolet Caprice Classic
