Nederlands: Dirk Dewolf komt al juichend over de streep aan de Zuiderlaan in Dwars door België ‘89. De keuze voor de nieuwe aankomst is te wijten aan het BK, dat in Waregem wordt georganiseerd. In de wedstrijdbrochure van dit BK wordt de aankomstzone beschreven: “De Zuiderlaan is een dubbele asfaltweg waarvan de twee rijvakken gescheiden zijn door een middenberm. De breedte van elk rijvak bedraagt acht meter. Op het rechterrijvak ligt de aankomstlijn, op het linkervak en op de rechterberm staan de tribunes en podiums opgesteld. Het linkervak zal in de laatste ronde eveneens benut worden als afleidingszone van de volgwagens.” |
