This image is irrevocably in the public domain, as it was first published before 1978 without a copyright notice in the 1959 issue of the Pennsylvania State University yearbook, LaVie. Although the "Reproduction notice" in the digitized version from September 2008 claims "All copyrights are held by the LaVie Board of Directors", no copyright notice appeared within the original 1959 publication.
