Summary

Description
English: Alligator snapping turtle (Macrochelys temminckii) being offered a dead rat during feeding time at Sydney Zoo. The turtle refused the rat but did take some fish (the latter not photographed). With the top open for feeding, the tank admits more light than in normal display conditions.
