96 Board of PubIvIC Works Rkport. ENGINE HOUUSE NO. 7. This is one of the buildings erected during the year 1898 at acost of $4,650. The lot (No. 33 Nelsons addition) was pur-chased in 1897 for the sum oi $775 and furnished fire protectionto the western portion of the city, being located ori Main streetwest of St. Marys river. One steamer, one hose wagon, fourhorses and six men are housed here. Board of Public Works Report. 97 ENGINE HOUSE NO. 8. This building was also erected during the year 1898, costing$4,700. It is located on Fairfield avenue in the southwestern por-tion of the city, on lot 3 Tylers addition, purchased in 1898 at acost of $1,250. One steamer, one hose wagon, four horses and six men arestationed here. Houses NoS. 3, 4, 6, 7 and 8 are of the same design, havinga frontage of 37 feet and a depth of 67 feet. House No. 5 is of a similar design, having a frontage of 34feet and a depth of yy feet. All of these buildings are substantial, being constructed ofbrick and trmim
