| Description |
English: Arun journey View north from Pallingham Quay Farm Bridge. The small boat (seen a few pictures previously) did carry on and got about another half mile upstream. This annual cruise by the Solent and Arun Branch of the Inland Waterways Association, aims to check the state of the river and keep open the navigation at least as far as the junction of the Wey and Arun Canal, which is currently undergoing restoration.
We have passed the junction with the Wey and Arun Canal, but this link 804412 takes you to the first bridge a few metres to the east. Alternatively, if you have come in only part way through this River Arun journey, go back to the start at Littlehampton 802956 and join us for the whole trip. |
