Summary

Description
English: CalArts live performance piece on Ash Wednesday 1972. "Ashes and Apples" A live version of the Zen principal of throwing a dart everywhere in the room except at the target, with bites from several apples as a reward every time the dart misses the dart board. Mark Wilson is completely covered with ashes. Performed behind a screen while drumming on a wooden log. Photo originally taken by Michael Pliskin.
