Merknad: Sognekirke for Bakklandet prestegjeld, oppført i 1714-15, innviet i 1715 og på ny i 1941.

Kirken ble reist av eieren av Bakke gård, Biskop Peder Krogh. Kirka var den eneste bygningen som ble spart under svenskenes invasjon 1718. Kirken lå opprinnelig ute i Innherredsveien, og ble en betydelig trafikkhinder, da trafikken passerte på begge sider av kirka. I 1939 ble den flyttet til sin nåværende plassering, deretter restaurert og vigslet på nytt i 1941. (Kilde: Trondheim byleksikon, 2008)
