Português: Bandeira do município de Alterosa (Minas Gerais), projetada com as condições de Workshop de Heráldica e Vexilología da Wikipédia em espanhol. "A elaboração do símbolo do município foi o de esquartelado em cruz e em sautor e terciado, sendo adotado o estilo oitavado. O Brasão simboliza o Governo Municipal e o retângulo onde é aplicado representa a própria cidade. As faixas que partem desse retângulo dividindo a bandeira em quartéis representam a irradiação do poder municipal a todos os quadrantes do território e os quartéis as propriedades rurais existentes no município. A cruz pátea de goles e vasia de prata foi o primeiro símbolo a tremular em terras brasileiras e na bandeira de Alterosa é uma homenagem ao fundador do município, o português José Rodrigues Moreira."
