Summary

Description
English: The Belmont Lofts (known as the Belmont Arts Building until 2001) located at 1800 Belmont Road, NW in the Adams Morgan neighborhood of Washington, D.C. Designed by local architect George S. Cooper in 1900, the Queen Anne building is a contributing property to the Washington Heights Historic District. Notable past tenants include author Mírzá Aḥmad Sohráb and John H. Edwards, an Assistant Secretary of the Treasury. The first floor retail space (2322 18th Street, NW) is currently leased to a MaggieMoo's franchise. The remaining floors serve as residential units.
