Description This biographical image is of Lindsay Rimer, a 13-year-old child who was the victim of a murder in Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire, in November 1994. She disappeared after going out to buy cornflakes on 7 November 1994, and was found dead in the town's canal 5 months later. Her murder remains unsolved as of 2022. This image is a West Yorkshire Police handout and has been widely published online, in books about the case and in the press.

This image was original handed out to the press for use by the West Yorkshire Police themselves. This image has been widely used in the press and media ever since as a biographical image of Rimer. The subject died around 7 November 1994 and also was the victim of an unsolved child murder. It has also been published in books, such as the 2021 book The New Millenium Serial Killer by Chris Clark and Tim Tate.

Unique name I have given to this file makes any ambiguous usage extremely unlikely.
