Description: Ecartelé, au premier et quatrième d'azur au chateau sommé d'une tour crénelée de trois pièces, d'argent, chargé d'un M de sable; au deuxième et troisième d'or au griffon de sable armé et lampassé de gueles, sur le tout d'argent à la Croix alaisée de gueules, au chef des bonnes villes de l'Empire qui est de gueules chargé de trois abeilles d'or. Lettres patentes du 13 Juin 1811. Source: Umberto de Ferrari di Brignano, Napoleone concede uno stemma ad Alessandria in Rivista di storia, arte, archeologia della provincia di Alessandria, XLIII, 1934 Italiano: Stemma di Alessandria sotto il Primo Impero: Blasonatura: Inquartato: nel 1º e 4º d'azzurro al castello cimato da una torre a tre merli d'argento e caricato da una M [=Marengo] di nero; nel 2º e 3º d'oro al grifone di nero, armato e linguato di rosso; sul tutto d'argento alla croce scorciata di rosso. Capo delle Bonnes Villes dell'Impero che è di rosso a tre api d'oro poste in fascia. Corona cimata da un'aquila nascente d'oro. Concesso con Lettere patenti del 13 giugno 1811.
