Purpose of use in article (WP:NFCC#8)	The sample of the map shows how like it is to Tolkien's map in style, and how different in content and intention, mocking the original's unconvincing mountain chains and oddly-shaped, oddly-named features.
Not replaceable with free media because (WP:NFCC#1)	This is the only map in the book, and it's in copyright.
Minimal use (WP:NFCC#3)	The sample is cropped, at poor resolution, and used only here.
Respect for commercial opportunities (WP:NFCC#2)	It seems most unlikely, both because of the distance in time from publication, and because this low-quality, cropped sample must be less of a threat than the higher-quality copies already available on the web, such as the stated source.
