Description
English: 22 September 1981: Cayalan Island, Philippines - An aerial view of the capsized Philippine frigate BRP Datu Kalantiaw (PS-76) (ex-USS Booth (DE-170)) during the U.S. Military Airlift Command's Aerospace Rescue and Recovery Service rescue operations. Datu Kalantiaw was lost during Typhoon Clara, 21 September 1981. 79 of 97 crewmember died.
