English: Ornamental ironwork by local firm Fire and Iron Gallery on the ramp at the end of High Street, overlooking the junction of Bridge Street and North Street, depicting local bridges, the nearer ones representing the Shell Bridge and the M25 motorway and the ones beyond representing railway bridges and Leatherhead Bridge.
In the background is 2 Bridge Street, built in 1928 for the National Provincial Bank and occupied by them until around 1970 when it moved into the Westminster Bank premises across the road, following their merger to form the National Westminster Bank. The building was later occupied by the Woolwich Building Society and most recently a local independent bookseller, Bartons Bookshop, until closure in early 2019 due to the retirement of its owner. Grade II listed.
