Summary

Description
English: Brindley Heath railway station (site), Staffordshire

Opened in 1939 by the London Midland & Scottish Railway on the line from Walsall to Rugeley, this station closed in 1959. It was situated near the former RAF Hednesford (1939-1956) on Cannock Chase.

View north east towards Rugeley, shortly after the railway line was electrified and the level crossing decommissioned. The wooden platforms would have been in the immediate foreground but are long gone. The (presumed) former level crossing keeper's house predates the station.
