Summary
| Description | Building at upper end of Dryades Street at Philip Street, New Orleans. Opened in 1915 as the branch of the New Orleans Public Library for "Coloreds" during the era of racial segregation; the only public library open to African Americans in the city until 1946. Continued use as a branch public library until 1965. |
