English: Matsuno Chikanobu, ink and colours on silk, kakemono 37" by 14", painted between 1704 and 1716 : Parading Courtesan.
Français : Le style de ce kakemono est très proche de celui de l'atelier des Kaigetsudo. On pense cependant aujourd'hui que Chikanobu était bien un artiste indépendant, présentant quelques caractéristiques stylistiques personnelles : le style général est moins hiératique, plus fluide que chez les Kaigetsudo. L'image de la courtisane semble suivre le canon de la beauté fixé par Ihara Saikaku, en particulier "le pied long... [qui] doit avoir le gros orteil relevé et la plante cambrée". Acquis par le musée Guimet en l'an 2000.
日本語: この掛物の作風は懐月堂の作風に非常に近いが、今日、親信は確かに独立した芸術家であり、個性をいくつか示したと考えられる。つまり一般的な懐月堂の作風ほど階層的ではなく、より流動的である。花魁(おいらん)像は井原西鶴が定めた美の規範に従って、特に「脚は長く足の親指を立て足裏をアーチ状に」描く。ギメ美術館収蔵(2000年-)。
