Ball-and-stick model of the cyclooctadiene iridium chloride dimer, C16H24Cl2Ir2, as found in the crystal structure reported in CSD Communication QQQCXA03. Previous structure determinations were reported in Inorg. Chim. Acta. (1986) 120, 153-157, J. Less-Common Met. (1971) 23, 110-112 and J. Less-Common Met. (1970) 21, 337-339.
