Description

The first illustration of a Cythara (out of 10) which the Stuttgart Psalter illustrates. The instrument is labeled Cythara or incythara near each picture. In this illustration the word is above the picture. This is the only picture of a cythara in the psalter that shows the instrument's bridge.
