Deutsch: Die Ortsgemeinde Üxheim besteht aus den bis 1968 selbständigen Gemeinden Heyroth, Leudersdorf, Niederehe und Üxheim - Ahütte. Alle diese Gemeinden zählten bis zum Ende der Feudalzeit in der Herrschaft Kerpen, zum reichsunmittelbaren Besitz der Herzöge von Aremberg. Sie führten in Rot goldene Mispelblüten mit blauen Butzen in Ihrem Wappen. Hier sind vier Mispelblüten symbolisch für die vier ehemals selbständigen Gemeinden im rechten Wappenteil aufgenommen. Die Edlen Herren von Kerpen führten einen roten Sparrenbalken in silbernem Wappen, der hier im oberen Wappenteil wiedergegeben ist. Der Rost im linken unteren Wappenteil ist das Attribut des heiligen Laurentius.
