Object history
Deutsch: Das inschriftlich auf 1622 datierte Gerichtssiegel zeigt den Eichenzweig aus einem Aststück wachsend, womit es dem Gerichtssiegel von Langen vom gleichen Jahre sehr ähnlich sieht, während ein Stuckwappen von 1615 in der Kirche einen stilisierten Eichbaum mit drei Eicheln in einem Kranze hat, beides Hinweise auf die Zugehörigkeit zum Wildbann Dreieich.
English: The old seals of the town, the oldest dating from 1622, all disply an oak leaf, as the village historically belonged to the Dreieich Forest Estate, Dreieich meaning "three oaks". On the seals the tree is rising from clear roots.
