Deutsch: Das rote Kreuz steht für die Zugehörigkeit der Ortsgemeinde zum Bistum Trier. Mit der Darstellung von sieben roten Rauten als Teil des Wappens der Grafen von Virneburg wurd auf die Zugehörigkeit unseres Ortes zur Grafschaft Virneburg hingewiesen. Durch Pfeil und Palmzweig deuten zwei Attribute des heiligen Sebastianus, auf den Schutzpatron der Dorfkapelle von Mannebach hin. Dabei steht der Pfeil als Marterwerkzeug für seine erste Hinrichtung. Der Palmzweig charakterisiert das Überleben der Hinrichtung mit Pfeil und Bogen als Siegeszeichen, denn nach der Legende konnte der totgeglaubte Sebastianus gesund gepflegt werden. Ein blauer Wellenbalken sybolisiert den Bachlauf des Mannebach als Ursprung für die Namensgebung des Ortes.
