Object history Das dem Gerichtssiegel von 1779 entsprechende Wappen entzieht sich einer näheren Deutung. Der Antrag des Reichsherolds, die Gerichtsbarkeit andeutenden Stern fortzulassen, wurde durch den König verworfen. Baum und Hirsch sind als Hinweis auf Wald- und Wildreichtum aufzufassen. Das Wappen wurde vom König Ludwig I. von Bayern genehmigt.
