Deutsch: Die roten Kugeln weisen auf die Herren von Brule hin, das namensgebende Geschlecht für das Brohltal. Die Bischofsstäbe symbolisieren die zahlreichen ehemaligen geistlichen Besitzungen Kurtrier, Kurköln und Stift Essen in den Farben der heute noch bestehenden Benediktinerabtei Maria Laach. Der zwölffach geständerte Teil entstammt dem Wappen der Herrschaft Waldbott von Bassenheim und die Balken auf goldenem Grund entstammen dem Wappen der Herren von Kempenich. |
