Description
English: David Blunkett’s dog Lucy receives a gift at Margaret McMillan Nursery School. Based in Islington, the nursery is a beacon school. The network of beacon schools is to more than double next year to 125. Beacon schools are encouraged to spread best practice to their neighbours. New schools taking part will each receive £30,000 to help pay for initiatives.
