Description
English: 1890s-era illustration of De Benneville Randolph Keim, a Pennsylvania native who became a noted journalist and confident of Ulysses S. Grant, U.S. General of the Armies (Union) during the American Civil War, a relationship which continued when Grant became the 18th President of the United States. His newspaper byline was frequently published as "De B. Keim".
