English: In Burkina Faso, more than 6,000 inhabitants of the Yirgou region in north-central now live in IDP camps.

In Barsalogho, 65 km from Yirgou in the Centre-North, a majority of women and children of the Peul ethnic group are the survivors of the January 1 massacre that targeted their community in which 49 people were killed.

Français : Au Burkina Faso, plus de 6.000 habitants de la région de Yirgou dans le centre-nord vivent désormais dans des camps de déplacés.

A Barsalogho, à 65 km de Yirgou dans le Centre-Nord, une majorité de femmes et des enfants de l’ethnie peul sont les rescapés de la tuerie du 1er janvier qui a visé leur communauté lors de laquelle 49 personnes avaient été tuées.
