Description

The scenic Douglas Creek canyon is known for its hunting, fishing, hiking, and dispersed camping experiences, as well as swimming in the deep pools and waterfalls at its south end. A great variety of plants, animals and birds make their homes in or near the lush oasis created by this year-round stream. Start planning your visit to this one-of-a-kind Washington wonder!

Directions: Take Highway 2 east past Waterville, Washington, for 8 miles, and turn right onto "H" Road. Follow this gravel road for 7 miles, down into the Douglas Creek canyon.
