DescriptionFarmington FIeld Office 2014 National Public Lands Day (15403504245).jpg
The Farmington Field Office hosted a National Public Lands Day event at Glade Recreation Area and Piñon Mesa Recreation Area. They had 192 volunteers, and collected 6-50 cubic foot dumpsters of trash, including tires, refrigerators, and air conditioners. In attendance was John Rusen (pictured here with Seymour the Antelope) who is 97 years and 3 days old. He says, "When you get my age you count every day!" The BLM wants to thank him for spending this day improving his public lands.
