Italiano: La “forma da carta” era lo strumento che veniva utilizzato nelle cartiere per la produzione di carta fatta a mano. La forma, le cui dimensioni variavano in relazione al formato di carta che si intendeva ottenere, era costituita da più elementi e/o componenti realizzati principalmente in legno e bronzo, quali: telaio, tela, sottotela, virgoli e cascio. Sulla tela in bronzo fosforoso sostenuta dal telaio in legno, potevamo trovare (ricamata con filo metallico anch’esso in bronzo) la ‘filigrana in chiaro’ o, apposta con una seconda tela, la ‘filigrana in scuro o ‘chiaro/scuro’ raffigurante immagini a rilievo. La “forma da carta” veniva più volte immersa nella pasta (costituita da acqua e stracci di cotone macerati finemente) ed era grazie al cascio, il quale tratteneva le fibre dell’impasto, che si andava a creare il foglio di carta.
