This flag uses the RGB color for the Pantone 280 blue used in the flag of NATO found on page 8 of the English version of "Secretary General’s Annual Report 2014": 0/73/144 = #004990.[1]. It differs slightly in the size of the star from a similar flag presented and explained on page 14 of the 2016 Visual Identity Guidelines published by NATO.[2] The flag is presented in a 3:5 ration instead of 3:4. The particular color for blue is is also found on page 6 of the Visual Identity Guidelines document used in NATO logos. The color is also used for the NATO logo on the front page of the "Secretary General’s Annual Report 2014" and the background color for text on the front page of that document as well as the NATO logo used in the Secretary General’s Annual Report 2013 [3].
