English: "A pair to the portrait of her husband, Henry Cavendish, 2nd Duke of Newcastle (1630-1691) at Bolsover Castle, Derbyshire. Both portraits share the same painted cartouche, and both are inscribed in the same hand with the identity of the sitter, upper left. Another portrait of the sitter by Beale, three-quarter length in ermine robes, is at Welbeck Abbey."
