Summary

Description
English: The Gigatron is a single-board computer that does not use a microprocessor. All logic is in the form of small-scale integration chips, similar to the original TTL logic 7400 family. The architecture implements 17 instructions, with an accumulator register, and two 8-bit index registers. It has an 8 bit word size , a 128 kilobyte EPROM, and 32 kbytes of read-write memory with a clock sped of 6.25 MHZ. In this design, data space and program space are separate. This computer can display text and graphics on a VGA compatible display and with an external adapter can use a full alphanumeric keyboard. This particular unit, shown during assembly, is placed in the wooden display case provided with the kits. A few resistors for the video output are not yet installed.
