Description
English: The auxiliary minesweeper HMAS Goorangai coming in to berth at a wharf in Port Philip, Victoria, while two sailors look on. AWM caption: "AUXILIARY MINESWEEPER, H.M.A.S. "GOORANGAI", WHICH COLLIDED WITH THE COASTAL LINER "DUNTROON", IN PORT PHILLIP BAY, 1940-11-20, AND FOUNDERED IMMEDIATELY WITH THE LOSS OF HER FULL COMPLEMENT OF TWENTY-FOUR OFFICERS AND MEN."
