Description

Been wondering when Seattle would get a permanent, tangible Kurt Cobain memorial other than the bench in Viretta Park? Wonder no longer. Here's the "giant Cobain-inspired Fender guitar" neon sign for the new Hard Rock Cafe that opened earlier in the year on Pike Street.

Also the Seattle Art Museum is joining in the revival with the exhibit "Kurt" which celebrates the short life and incendiary musical career of Cobain, who committed suicide 16 years ago at age 27.
