Summary

Description
English: 'The Port of Arica" by William Hack of the Thames school of chartmakers. Arica, in present-day Chile, was the entrepot for the great silver mined of Potos,í and a target of pirates. This chart was based on a Spanish derrotero captured by Captain Bartholomew Sharp in 1680.
