Formerly owned by Charles I of England, were made for Pope Leo X. 300 years since -- at a cost of 60,000 crowns!!! and are the greatest curiosities in the world. Subjects, Christ's charge to Peter, Paul preaching at Athens, the death of Ananias, the cripple at the gate of the temple called Beautiful. Also, Rubens' large & splendid painting of the crucifixion! ... Now exhibiting at Harding's Gallery, School St., Boston"
