English: Haytor Quarries. A charming view of Haytor Quarry, showing the pools that have formed within the deeper parts of the workings. This is a spectacularly pretty place on a summer's day, and is much visited, being only a short walk from the car park at the foot of Haytor rocks. There are water lilies growing in the pools - quite exotic for such a high and inhospitable location! |
