| Purpose of use in article (WP:NFCC#8) | Hidden Palace Zone is the most infamous scrapped level from Sonic the Hedgehog 2 and a key point of discussion in the development section. It was extensively featured in prerelease coverage and influenced subsequent Sonic games (a reworked version would appear in Sonic 2's sequel Sonic & Knuckles, while the original level was restored in the 2013 remake). A screenshot contributes to this discussion by showing the amount of work done on the level prior to its removal. |
