Summary

Description
English: Horstead Hall, Norfolk. The stable block and water tower are the only visible remains of Horstead Hall. Built in 1835 on the site of an Elizabethan house, it was demolished in the mid 20th century. During WW2 it was a cipher clerk training school. The house was the home of the Harbord family. Charles Harbord, 5th Baron Suffield (1830-1914) was a good friend of Edward VII.
