Summary

Description
English: This is an image of a page from Sir Syed Ahmad Khan's seminal work on Delhi's monuments- Aasar Us Sanadeed ( AuS). These inscriptions were found on the walls of 'Khari Baoli'- a step-well that gave the bazaar its name. Nothing remains of the said monument now. It seems to have existed as late as 1854, when the second edition of AuS was published.
