Summary

Description

Deer Lake, Newfoundland. As mentioned previously, Deer Lake only has one tourist attraction of note. You're looking at it here. Some people say an insectarium is like a zoo for insects, but that's not really the case with the Newfoundland Insectarium: though it does house a few live insects, most of the specimens are dead and mounted. Even so, it's one of only about a dozen or so insectaria in the world - pretty remarkable for a town of only 5,000 or so people. It should be noted that the photos I took of the Insectarium's exhibits are far from the best or most exciting in my repertoire. So if you're an insect lover, by all means enjoy them; if not, you can skip over them and I won't be offended.

Deer Lake, Terre-Neuve.
