English: John A. O'Farrell (1823-1900) was an Irish American mining prospector and adventurer who helped to establish the city of Boise, Idaho. He is the namesake of two properties listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the John A. O'Farrell Cabin and the John A. O'Farrell House.
