Summary

Description
English: John Peel's grave, Great Finborough, Suffolk John Peel, legendary radio DJ, died at the age of 65 from a heart attack on 25 October 2004 while on holiday in Cuzco, Peru. His funeral, on 12 November 2004 was attended by over a thousand people, including many of the artists he championed. Peel had written in The Guardian that, apart from his name, all he wanted on his gravestone were the words, "Teenage dreams, so hard to beat", from the lyrics of "Teenage Kicks" by The Undertones. He got his wish. His grave is in the churchyard of St Andrew's Church, Great Finborough.
